An ideal gift to treat someone for a special occasion ~ and if you are able to collect from the shop then your choice of content for your hamper is endless.
Hampers at The Jug & Bottle are presented in many different and beautiful formats. The traditional way at The Jug and Bottle has been in a good quality wicker basket and cellophane, allowing all the goods to be seen. However 2009 saw the introduction of Jug & Bottle branded EcoBags. All goods were individually wrapped in side and the bag finished off with a gift tag and wired bow. These have proved to be an incredibly popular addition to our range.
We have many ways in which to wrap your goodies;
Wicker basket with cello and ribbon;
The goods are thoughtfully and carefully arranged in an attractive manner in a wide range of wicker baskets that our staff can choose from. The goods are laid ontop of tissue paper and then finished off with spotty or seasonal cellophane and decorated with ribbon, bows and a gift tag for your personal message.
Ribbed boxes closed off with a clear lid and ribboned;
The items you have selected are presented in a smart way in these stylish boxes. A clear, lid is placed ontop to seal the hamper closed. Ribbon or raffia is used to finish off these hampers with bows in various colours.
2010 sees the introduction of home delivery in this new range of hampers. The goods are carefully packed in stylish boxes which come with the contents wrapped in tissue for the element of surprise and covered over with a cello lid. This packaging will allow these hampers to be delivered to your door, via a courier service. (Mail Order Hampers).
Re-useable Eco bag (various sizes/styles available);
These have proved to be very popular as the recipient of the hamper then has a shopping bag to use after they've enjoyed all the goodies that they've received. All items within the bag are individually wrapped and the bag handles are tied together and finished off with a large, wired bow and a gift tag for your personal message.
There are two new boxes as well; a faux leather round hamper and a two tier stylish, square box (both very useful after the goodies have been snaffled).
Nothing could be simplier than making up a hamper at The Jug & Bottle. There are a number of ways of making up a hamper outlined below;
“You Choose” ~ Come in and select all the contents from the shelves and we’ll do the wrapping for you.
“We Choose” ~ Let us know how much you want spend and maybe give us an idea of the content such as red wine and favour more sweet goods than savoury.
“Both Choose” ~ Come in and select a few special items that you really want in the hamper and let up make up the rest to the value you select.
Cost & Payment ~ Hampers start from approx £20 upwards. Payment must be made on order of hamper. If in the shop, by cash, cheque, credit or debit card. If over the phone by card or if ordering via email BACS details will be provided. (Payment will need to be received into account before despatch).
Local delivery in Bubwith is free. Approx £5 delivery charge for surrounding villages within a 10 mile radius.
Other ideas for hampers; beer, cider or wine alone (collection from shop only). Non-alcoholic. All food. Small items, ideal for one person.
Hampers can be made up whilst you wait. However, during busy times it will be necessary to arrange to collect them at a later time or date.
