Dark & Spooky Cocktail For Halloween

With Halloween fast approaching you either love or hate this time of year. So why not make the best of it and try this delicious cocktail to help get you through the reams of Trick or Treaters knocking on your door!

“Dark & Spooky”

Half glass of ginger beer (not ginger ale)

2 teaspoons of fresh lime juice , plus 1 lime wedge

3 tablespoons of dark rum (plus a slip of the hand)

Something to decorate the glass with on a cocktail stick

(For added effect, you can black sugar the rim of the glass. Use food colouring to colour some granulated sugar, then spread out on a baking tray to dry for a couple of days. Use another lime wedge to rub the rim of the glass and then dip to coat the rim).

Fill a glass with ice

Pour the ginger beer and lime juice

To float the rum, turn a metal spoon upside down and hold just over the ginger beer. Slowly pour the run over the back of the spoon.

Garnish with the lime wedge and Halloween decoration.
