Bubwith's 5th Beer and Cider Festival went down a real storm this year, on October 8th. Guests were treated a great selection of beers put on by Louise Smith from The Jug & Bottle, Bubwith's very own specialist real ale and cider off licence. Punters had 14 beers to choose from and 5 ciders and Perry's. Whilst the drinking went on Dave Smith, York Blue's guitarist played who was then followed by Beverly band Reloaded.…

The Jug & Bottle has won yet another award. On 3rd March Doug and Louise attended a Black Tie Dinner at Cave Castle for the Goole & Howdenshire Business Excellence Awards. The Jug & Bottle was award "Community Business of the Year" and was finalist in Small Business of the Year. The evening was hosted by Harry Gration of BBC Look North and entertainment by comedian, Bill Woolland.

Bubwith-based specialist off-licence and delicatessen, The Jug & Bottle, has landed a new contract to supply twelve ciders to Sheffield Rugby Club as part of its Annual Beer & Cider Festival.
