Latest product news:

PureNorth Ciders from Holme in West Yorkshire and also one of our latest editions as is Ampleforth Cider.  We have Ampleforth both in 1L bottles and on draught (med/dry) and also stock their Ampleforth Amber, an apple juice and brandy conbination as well as their cider brandy and sloe gin.

We are pleased to say we have Once Upon a Tree back in stock in bottles and on draught. 

We've also started to stock Pips Cider, Hereford and Thistly Cross from Dunbar on draught and in bottles ~ these will be put out when space appears on our shelves.

We also now stock Rekorderling in 3 flavours.

Cider and Perry is sold either on draught or in bottles. We usually have 16+ on draught and approx 40 different bottles.

Our regular cider and Perry's are from; on draught Weston’s, Gwynt y Ddraig and Biddenden and in bottles; Biddenden, Once Upon a Tree, Olivers and Sheppy's.  We endeavour to change our stock of draught and bottles on a regular basis and currently have a wide range from Thistly Cross, Olivers and Pips.

 

Here at The Jug & Bottle we change our draught ciders and Perry's to give variety and interest, but you can usually find on draught regular favourites such as Weston's Old Rosie, 1st Quality and County Perry, Biddenden Dry & Medium as well as firm favourites of the staff from Gywnt y Ddraig; Black Dragon & Two Tree's Perry.  We also stock both in bottles and on draught our local cider from Moorlands.

Draught cider is sold by the pint in jugs to take away. Jugs are for sale in the shop and hold up to 4 or 8 pints.

The Cider tasting went ahead in July and was enjoyed by all that attended.  We tried 9 ciders and Perry's, three of which were in a champagne and aperitif format and were very well received.
