We are also starting to sell tickets onlineย at our websiteย for most of these events. If you have any questions, please do give us a ring and one of our members of staff will answer any questions you may have.

Of course there is ourย ย Pop Up Bar, Last Friday in every month (except December) From 7.45pm-11pm – next one is 23rd February.ย 

 

2nd March SloeMotion and Social Gin Tasting ยฃ15

The lovely SloeMotion will be here to kick off our 2018 events programme. With a Welcome G&T with their beautiful Hedgerow gin and maybe a cocktail too. Learn about the history of this great Yorkshire spirit producer and then continue with more gins in an informal setting to while away the evening with friends.

15th March Chocolate Tasting ยฃ8

Bill Martin from The House of Sarunds, a long-time partner with The Jug & Bottle, will teach us what makes good chocolate and show us how to get the most out of the chocolate weโ€™ll taste together on the day. Youโ€™ll have great fun and it may even change the way you think about chocolate!

Outside The Jug & Bottle 10.30-2pm.ย Come along and sample some great gins just in time to enjoy over the Easter break

20th April Your Essential Guide to Summer Cocktails for 2018 ยฃ12.50ย 

Showcasing easy but innovative twists on spritzes, summer cups, highballs, and rum punch, hereโ€™s your guide to cocktails that will impress, but can easily be whipped up in your kitchen.

Tom Bartram, with over 15 yearsโ€™ experience working with top cocktail bars and for trend leading alcohol brands, will guide us through the cocktails the country will be drinking in summer 2018, not only giving recipes but also the formulas to invent your own bespoke thirst quenching creations.

14th June Gin Educational by Damien Egan ยฃ12.50

Youโ€™ll learn about this small batch gin inspired by Zio Valerio love of gardening and native Tuscan cuisine. During the evening youโ€™ll get to taste each of the 3 delicious and very different expressions.

As an added bonus youโ€™ll be invited to learn about Zymurgorium Gin from Manchester and get to taste their Orange Marmalade Gin and Sweet Violet Gin Liqueur.

AUTUMN EVENTS

Friday 21stย September Gin Social. ยฃ20

Come along to this fun event in a relaxed atmosphere and try 7 gins. A Welcome G&T followed by 6 more to try with various tonics and botanicals and maybe learn a few quirky facts and figures about the intriguing world of gin.

Monday 8th October Christmas Preview Night. ยฃ5

Come along and be the first to see our exciting new ranges for Christmas, from gins and spirits to food and gift ware and enjoy a stroll around the shop with a glass of fizz whilst you shop.ย  There will also be some suppliers here to tempt you with their produce.

Thursday 15th ย November ยฃ12.50

Discover and enjoy a range of whiskies from the Multi Award English Whisky Co. with Mike Fisher (Head of Global Sales). An Independent family owned business The English Whisky Co. hand crafts Single Malt Whisky at Englandโ€™s oldest malt whisky distillery based in Norfolkโ€
