April:ย Easter Saturday 19th April = FREE Tasting 10am-1pm outside shop with ciders, olives, spirits and cheese
May: Tue 13th 7.30pm Wine Tasting with Stuart “Rhone reds and Spanish Whites” ยฃ10
Mon 19th 7.30pm Sloe Motion, a Yorkshire grown company with everythingย Sloe; Gin, whisky, brandy A Talk and a taste with Jonathan ยฃ3
June: Wed 18th 7.30pm Fromage Depart Tastings with Cryer & Stott Cheesemongers. Travel the route of the Tour de France through the medium of cheese! ยฃ8
Mon 23rd 7.30pm Michael returns with a new selection of whisky from Gordon & MacPhail ยฃ15
July: Thur 10th 7.30pm Cider Tasting Social ~ You only need the ability to talk and drink cider! ยฃ10
September: Mon 22nd 7.30pm Wine Tasting with Johanna Menneer. A Preview of new wines to The Jug & Bottle in readiness for the festive season ยฃ12
October: Mon 6th 6.30pm or 8pm ย Christmas Preview. The “original” J&B Events and a firm favourite. Come along and see what new goodies are in for Christmas and visit some suppliers with their wares.
November: Wed 12th 7.30pm Guppy’s are coming along to host a Talk & Taste Evening of Chocolate. ย A great chocolate company from York. Chocolate and Local ~ could it get any better! ยฃ8
Sun 30th: 1.30-3.30pm Christmas Wreath Making with Cliff & Gill. ยฃ29.95 for a 12″ & ยฃ36.95 for a 16″. Learn how to green up a wreath and then decorate it for your own front door. Always a sell out, early booking essential as strictly limited places.
December:ย Mon 1st 7.30pm Festive Wine & Cheese Evening with Jo & Louise. ยฃ15. Details to follow.
